Shadowplay
Shadowplay was a participatory artwork by artist Jaakko Niemelä. It was created by powerful videoprojectors and the shadows of people passing by. The projections and videoanimations enticed people into playing with their own shadows. New facets emerged out of this public city space, as the shadows turned the walls into large, constantly changing picture surfaces.
