Lightboulevard - A bridge through picture
Together with architects Käpy ja Simo Paavilainen.
Artistic elements: glass covered bridge of hundred meters connecting two shores over the bay at Vaasa inner harbour, north of Finland. The glass is covered with abstract silkscreen printed patterns of motives that are taken from trees branches.
The day light creates interesting shadows and patterns inside the glass corridoor. At night time the glass reflects light from inside creating a lighted bridge that is well visible from further away. The lights of the bridge reflect to the water underneath.
